It gets a little too warm in the summer months, but it keeps you warm and comfy in the winter months. The feathers tend to keep our bdrm furniture dusty, but we eliminated that by adding a duvet cover. Love this item. I'm thinking about purchasing one for the guest bdrm as well.

(More customer reviews)The best thing about this duvet is the size. I've searched up and down for an oversized duvet for my queen-sized down comforter and this is the only one I've found. As another reviewer mentioned, there is a wide gap on one end of the comforter, but I added a few velcro dots to remedy it. You do need to iron this after washing, which is a pain, but it is such a good price, it's worth it. I've had mine for four months and am back on Amazon ordering another in case they aren't available when I wear this one out.

(More customer reviews)Just received mine today. The tag on the comforter states minimum 75% down. That leaves 25% FEATHERS. What a disappointment to discover this after reading the product description carefully BEFORE I made my purchase.
If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. This comforter proves the rule.
FEATHER/down combination comforters do NOT maintain their loft--they tend to flatten out after minimal use. They also do not have the same luxury feel as 100% down.
Feathers in the comforters make noise. I tried one of the feather and down combination comforters on our bed and my husband who NEVER notices anything asked why the comforter was making noise! Down is silent when you roll over or adjust the covers.
The outer covering on this comforter is nice at 410 thread count.
This is just another warm blanket, not a luxury down comforter. The label on the comforter package clearly states: BASIC BEDDING.
The less expensive down and feather combination comforters sold on amazon have the SAME fill, so unless you want the 410 thread count cover on a feather/down combination comforter, save your money and buy the less expensive product.
I will be returning this product and searching for a 100% down comforter. We've had the real thing for years and the feather/down combination comforters just don't measure up.

The quality of the comforter is superior and it has barely shed in the month we've had it. The comforter gets a little too toasty on some Summer days, but I can use it with the AC on. This will be great for Pittsburgh winters!
Most down comforters of this quality are over $200. I've found a few in the past that have been under $100 but they do not have the same fill power or the superior stitching this comforter has. It is really super soft and I'm sad that I had to put it in a cover.
Washing Instructions:
Wash in a gentle cycle in cold/warm water.
Do not add fabric softener.
Tumble dry

(More customer reviews)This quilt is pretty much what I expected at amazon's price. Though probably not worth full price, the value here is good. It's very soft and though I haven't slept under it yet feels just like any down comforter would. It smells good and is packaged well. My only complaints about it are that it is slightly shorter than the Pottery Barn duvet cover which I put it in and it has no loops at the corners with which to tie the corners of the duvet cover. I simply tied the ties around the corner of the comforter and this worked OK though I wonder if they would come loose if this was slept under often (I'm simply using it in the guest bedroom which is low traffic). Overall it's pretty good, though if I could afford it I'd probably spring for the higher end real-down comforters from Pottery Barn.

the only problem was with the the sheetsnthings company that is connected to amazon.com site. sheets n things
refunded my money they gave me back $ 52.99 in gift cards and i never requested a refund and i never sent the comforter back to sheets nthings.. sheets in things made a bumbling mistake and they want the 52.99 in gift cards
back. I am trying to comunicate with sheetsnthings but they dont want to talk to me very much
I will check today and see if they took out the 52.99 they told me once that was meant for somebody else
i am not sure how they could make a mistake like this. amazon.com tried to look for a phone number to the sheets n things company and they did not give me the right phone number. its frustrating i was so confused at where the 52.99 dollars in gift cards came from. I think the only right thing to do is let me keep the 52.99 dollars in gift cards and the person that made this mistake will have to pay for it out of his or her pockets.
i gave them permission to take back the gift cards iam sure anyone interested in purchasing this full size comforter from sheets n things will be interesed in hearing about my problems caused by sheets things bumbling mistakes

According to the description, the whole comforter is organic cotton, but that is incorrect. It is 100% organic cotton top filled with 100% natural cotton fiber. This may really affect someone's decision to purchase this item. It is a good deal, but not an amazing deal. It feels like a nice comforter, but it is made in china. The description is definitely inaccurate.
