(More customer reviews)The duvet cover on our king bed is generous in size so the comforter is not stuffed inside. It does seem to wrinkle too much if a person sit on it. It is soft and elegant to the touch. We like it very much and hope it holds up after several washings.

The construction of the duvet and shams is very basic, no frills. If you are looking for a simple, quality duvet that feels great cuddling up in on a cold night, this would be a good choice. If, however, you want something that is also decorative then you should probably look elsewhere.

I washed them before using on the beds (of course isn't that what one is suppose to do?)to try and soften it. Big mistake the seams were coming apart, threads everywhere. Of course I have retured the duvets. The return was easy, kept the box. I have an amazon credit card so I am hoping I get credited w/o problems. I do alot of internet shopping and am not used to returning things. DO not buy this duvet unless you want a mess of thread to put on your bed. The only reason I gave one star was b/c so far the return went smoothly.

The cover itself was definitely thinner than I thought it would be (the fabric) for 1200 count. More important...The duvet has NO TIES nor any other device to hold it in place connected to my comforter. It takes forever to make the bed because I am searching for the sides and corners to square things up. I would not recommend this item AT ANY PRICE. I am so disapponted. :(
P.S. I did try to contact the company via email...no response.
