Perhaps I just got a bad color lot. I purchased two of the king-sized comforters, one sage and one brown, during the Gold Box Deal of the Day a couple of days ago. After receiving them yesterday, my husband and I slept under the sage comforter last night. We were toasty warm and very comfortable.
The comforter is not too thick, just perfect for our not so cold nights in Central Texas. There are no feathers coming out of the down and the material is soft and inviting. The sage color was slightly different from the picture I saw, but quite beautiful and the brown looked the same as the photo.
I'm sure others may be more eloquent in their descriptions and details, but I just want to say: After all the negative reviews written by people who don't even own the product, I'm very happy with this purchase and I would buy it all over again!
I personally believe that if one doesn't own the product, one should not be writing a "REVIEW". Surely there is another medium to express "non-ownership" complaints...

They are nice and soft and very good quality. I got mine for $299 and have seen lots of sellers selling the same set for $399 Really nice bed in a bag. It is amazing how smooth this 1500 tc sheet set feels. I have a pillow top mattress and the comforter comes right down to the bed rails. Sheets come out of the dryer a little wrinkled, as normal with a high thread count cotton, but with a little smoothing with the hand once on bed, they are fine. Plus I am not worried about a few wrinkles. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Sweet Dreams

(More customer reviews)We had been concerned that the comforter would be too warm for us, but it is just fine. And, the fabric on the comforter and duvet is very soft. The color of the duvet is also more attractive and vibrant than the picture. Our issues are: 1. The duvet attracts and holds lint. We have to use a lint roller on it every few days and spraying it with an anti-static spray has not solved this; 2: Despite the channel system that is designed to prevent the down from gathering, it seems there's a lot of down at the bottom of the comforter, the part that hangs of the bed, each morning - more than should be in each compartment. However, given the nature of the product, this may be as good as it gets.

(More customer reviews)These are beautiful sheets and they are ultra luxurious to lay on when first out of the packaging. They make you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud. My only complaint is in the sizing. These sheets are advertised as being for a "Queen" bed. I have a standard queen sized bed and the fitted sheet almost looks like it's King sized when I put it on! It rumples, crinkles and folds underneath you every time you roll over in bed. I'm hoping that once washed, the sheet will "shrink" down to Queen size. The pillowcases, shams, flat sheet & duvet cover were all perfect.
I will definitely buy these sheets (in a different colour) again.

(More customer reviews)The design is wonderful, but that's where the good ends. The minute you take it out of the bag, it smells terrible - like chemicals. I waited a whole week for the smell to go away on it's own, but it never did. During the first week it was on my bed, the dye STAINED my white sheets simply by the comforter being on top of them. Finally, I had to wash the comforter because it smelled so bad, and guess what? Half of the colors/dye washed away and faded out the comforter in several areas.
It's a darn shame because the design is great, but it's not worth wasting your money on something that just falls right apart.
