I bought brand new 400 TC sheets from a chain company and compared them to the Italian sheets. NO COMPARISON!! The Egyptian cotton sheets are so soft!!, with perfectly sewn craftsmanship, and look awesome right out of the case! I also emailed the people who run the company when I had questions. THEY ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE! I could do anything in changing an order, and if I received what I didn't want, then I could return it. The WHOLE EXPERIENCE of working with this company and receiving the best sheets, the softest, well made sheets THE FIRST ORDER was just TREMENDOUS!! ALSO, ONE NOTE: I prefer the Italian sheets and the cotton they use. I prefer the italian workmanship. JUST MAKE SURE YOU ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY(Egyptian Cotton Factory Outlet Store). There are other sheets advertised but don't have the thread quality. FINALLY, I JUST LOVE THESE SHEETS, AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE OF ALL NEW BEDDING. THIS COMPANY IS GREAT!! AND, THEY HAVE THE BEDSKIRTS, OF THE SAME QUALITY, AS WELL. YOU WILL ENJOY WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY AND ENJOY YOUR NEW ITALIAN EGYPTIAN COMFORTER SET!!
