This isn't even worth the $60 and I can't imagine any world where it's worth $250 - I'd be irate if I paid any where near that for this, I wouldn't have paid $60 for it in a store and I'd rather pay $40-60 more for much better quality.
The material is extremely thin (I can see my hand through the pillow covers and the white of my down blanket shows through the duvet), it has a very cheap meshy white lining backing material (behind the top material that shows) and the under material (the part that doesn't show when it's on your bed) on the pieces is extremely thin and poor quality. There is stitching coming out all over the place; I'm afraid to wash it, even on the gentle cycle, because it looks and feels like it will come apart in the first washing. The duvet cover is a good 6-7" shorter than it should be for a queen size bed (I don't have an irregular-sized mattress, either)
The material that looks very luscious in the photos is really very raw, stiff and unpleasant to the touch and the throw pillows seem a lot smaller than the photo makes them out to be, I seriously doubt any amount of fabric softener will help. I'm not sure if the photo is from their bed-in-bag vs. their duvet-set-in-a-bag series and that's the reason for the disparity, but it's a complete disappointment. I should have been more conscious of the material used, since it does say 100% polyester, but I still haven't had polyester be this unpleasant before.
The color is very true to the picture and is absolutely beautiful. I wish it was constructed even slightly better.
Very disappointed in the product.
Just unfortunate that it would end up costing me over $30 in total shipping (Initial and return shipping) just to get rid of an item that cost $60. Probably the last time I take a chance on a company or bedding product online that doesn't offer free shipping and I definitely won't buy from Ecity again.
