Though fabric looks like silk, it is a little on the thin side and feels a little rough. We mix this set up with our regular cotton fitted sheet set so we sleep on the soft pillow cases and flat sheets under this duvet cover at night. On the whole I'm very happy with this purchase. It definitely stages very well.
