Upon arriving they are not as soft as 1000 count sheets should be, yet after 4 washings they were significantly softer than before.
They are heavy in weight, so if you are not looking for sheets that are this sturdy you might want to go for something thinner. Also to be noted, they accommodate mattresses up to 18 inches deep, meaning that you will need to tuck them under the mattress if you do not have a topper. The Willow sheets are in fact light green in color in case it is not distinguishable from the picture.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. They are sturdy, comfortable, soft sheets that shine with brilliance in the light and keep me warmer than thinner sheets.
