If it was machine washable I would have definitely kept it. Picture is very accurate for color. Looks very rich. Seems like a great price for what you get.

I ordered the laurel colored (green) king size duvet. The duvet is decently soft and is thicker than your average chain store duvet. I love the color and it looks great on our bed.
Washing it was a bit of a challenge in that it was too heavy for our washing machine during the spin cycle, but I was able to hand wring it, let the water drain and then put it on the spin cycle.. Maybe there is an easier way for washing in the washing machine.
I do like the duvet, and do not regret buying it in the least. I'm not sure if it is worth $200+. But it is likely being "organic" that you are paying the extra amount. It does seem like a higher end duvet (even though flannel), so I would purchase another in the future.
I'm giving 4* because of the challenge in washing it.

I have to say, I wholeheartedly disagree with the previous reviewer. I know the difference in quality between dorm-room type Bed in a Bag and this product. I am SUPER happy. It's soft, the colors are vibrant and muted at the same time, and very beautiful. The size is very generous and it is soft and silky to the touch. I would recommend to anyone!

I washed them before using on the beds (of course isn't that what one is suppose to do?)to try and soften it. Big mistake the seams were coming apart, threads everywhere. Of course I have retured the duvets. The return was easy, kept the box. I have an amazon credit card so I am hoping I get credited w/o problems. I do alot of internet shopping and am not used to returning things. DO not buy this duvet unless you want a mess of thread to put on your bed. The only reason I gave one star was b/c so far the return went smoothly.

This is my third Dwell Studio purchase. This duvet set just arrived and it is gorgeous. The "ash" color is more of a coffee, and the saffron trim is darker than you would guess from the photos.
Unfortunately, Dwell does not feel it is necessary to supply Amazon with adequate photos of their products. The saffron trim, by the way, is NOT toward the foot of the bed as the pictures show. The trim is on the perimeter of the duvet.
I am also knocking a star of my review as the pillow cases are enormous. The cases are hanging off my pillows - at least 20 inches on either side! It looks terrible. As I mentioned, this is my third king duvet set from Dwell and all the sets had x-tra large pillow cases.
No one has pillows this big Dwell Studios! Please stop making these absurd sizes. The duvet is great, but I really don't feel like spending another $50 for normal sized shams.

(More customer reviews)I was lucky to have gotten this on sale...overall, it's a great cover-unique pattern, love the colour, and the fabric is soft. Only downfall so far seems to be that there are no ties inside that allow fastening of the cover to your comforter. This means our comforter gets askew A LOT. Rather annoying and a little surprising given the price of this cover. I have to sew in some ties of my own, but why should I have to? Ah, Dwell Studio, give us ties, please!

(More customer reviews)I am sooo dissapointed. I waited what seemed forever for this duvet cover. The picture to me was completely misleading because it seemed like the duvet was double sided *white on one side and gold/yellow as the other*but it wasn't and the picture seemed like the color was a nice goldish pale yellow, but this duvet is a BOLD goldenrod. If I had to rate service, it would be 5/5 but based on the item and the picture presented it's definitely a 2. Unfortunately it's also very stiff and rough, and feels every bit of 200 thread count. The flowers are pink (had the assumption by the picture it was purple)If it wasn't for the green vines I would return it immediately. I still have yet to place my comforter inside but... for the price, it's nowhere near worth it...

The queen was just slightly larger than my queen sized comforter from the Dwell line at Target, but I was able to sew the sides up fairly easily and it looks great! The fabric is soft and satiny and the back is just as beautiful as the front, you can literally pair just about anything with it! It also washes up very nice and does not get pilly or dull. Wonderful product and well worth the price!
