(More customer reviews)I work in a store that sells Serena and Lily crib bedding, and so because I was familiar with the superior quality of the sheets, I decided to invest in this duvet and some sheets.
I was a little apprehensive about the duvet because I couldn't see the pattern too clearly in the photos and I was concerned that the colors would be too pastel. When the duvet arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the vibrancy of the blue/green color. What is subtle (and I like this) is the peacock pattern. It is really beautiful, but does not look fussy in the least.
The duvet closes with some really high quality fabric covered buttons that match the yellow tones in the peacock pattern. I am not sure of the thread count, but it must be pretty high because the sheets are very luxurious feeling.
I know that they are expensive, but the quality is so good that I expect this duvet to last for a long time. I got two sets of sheets to alternate and I wash the duvet cover every other time. So far, it has washed very well and I have had it for several months.
Worth the investment for as well as I am sleeping!
