(More customer reviews)I was very excited to get this. Out of the package it seemed like a good quality product. Before putting it on my son's bed, I washed and dried the set. Maybe I wasn't supposed to put the comforter in the dryer, but after I took it out (only in there about 15 minutes), the comforter was messed up. In several sections, it was like the stuffing material had melted together in a hard blob. Fortunately, this only happened in the corners, so it is not a complete loss. Keep the comforter out of the dryer, and you should be fine with this product.

Numerous loose threads throughout.. stitching completely coming out of the comforter's "patchwork pattern." The stuffing within the comforter was also lacking in that when grabbing the edges all you grab is the outer material between your fingers. If you're looking to update your bedroom with "modern sophistocation" this set will do it... but not for very long.

(More customer reviews)My 13 year old daughter selected this comforter set for her bedroom because she liked the colors and style. I liked the fact that the set contains 8 pieces which makes a complete bed ensemble. . .no searching for extra decorator pillows or a bed skirt to match. I also liked the fact that this set is washable which is essential in a household with a teenager and two cats (who also love the comforter!). It's hard to tell in the picture, but the fabric on all pieces contains a slight sheen, giving them a more elegant look. So far we love the set although it has not yet been through a washing so I cannot tell how it will hold up. I also note the small blue decorator pillow pictured (with the buttons) was not blue in the set I received. It was actually a cream/tan color with brown trim. Not a huge problem but the item wasn't exactly as pictured in case that's a high priority for anyone thinking about ordering this set. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product.

The only thing I can say is that it is a DUVET COVER, not a whole duvet. I only say this because I saw someone complaining that it's just two pieces of fabric sewn together, but thats exactly what it's supposed to be.
