(More customer reviews)I was concerned about buying a comforter/duvet insert online because how would I know if it was the right weight? I took the chance with this one and I am very pleased with it.
When I took it out of the packaging, I thought it was going to be way too lightweight for our needs because it felt thin. We keep our furnace low at night (65 degrees) and I still need to turn back the comforter at times. You can barely feel the weight of the comforter and yet the warmth is very satisfying.
The size is appropriate to fit inside a king-size duvet cover nicely (check your measurments, they are not all the same size). The fabric is soft and pliable with 9" squares of quilting to hold the filler in place.
Overall quality seems to be very high with this product.

(More customer reviews)This arrived very quickly and I had it on the bed the same night. We use it inside a duvet cover and with flannel sheets and honestly it is incredibly warm. The one we received was very well made, good baffle boxes sewn all the way around and through to keep filling in place, edges very sturdy with roping, it looks like it will hold up very well. We have used it about a week now and it is not very heavy but we find it to be plenty warm. It covers our standard king (not california) quite well but does not hang over the sides much. All in all, we are really happy with this purchase.

(More customer reviews)The online image showed these as a much darker shade of green so when this arrived with my new sheets they ended up being exactly the same color! This duvet cover is also not very soft, always looks wrinkled even when I take it directly out of the dryer, and collects a lot of hair very easily if you have cats or dogs. I ordered the Cal King size and my biggest gripe is why on earth Cal King duvets and duvet covers barely go over the edge of the bed?? If I'm ordering the speciality size you'd think these would be resized to drape nicely over the sides but alas they do not. What's up with that???

(More customer reviews)I was overcome with the horrid smell of mildew and storage shed as soon as I opened the zipper (it probably has to do with its warehouse storage).. I have no idea how much it costs to dry clean a queen size down comforter, but the quality of the fill isn't very good either- it is pokey and you can see the grey/black feathers through the casing which doesn't look that great either. Overall, I'd say don't bother with this product. I wanted white because I purchased a cream colored down comforter from Target about two years ago and it was great- it was around $50 including tax and for the $20 difference, you get atleast triple the quality of product.
