It is basically two really nice sheets sewn together with some feathers packed in the middle. material is so thin and cheap within about two days your bed, floor, and everything else will be covered in feathers.(I don't mean an understandable amount)I am talking about in the hundreds of feathers after a couple days all over the room and stabbing you from head to toe. GARBAGE !!!!! Hope anyone that sees this is saved because of it, complete waste of money. after a week, thousands feathers to clean up(not easily) and many annoying nights of accupuncture via blanket I switched back to my old $20 one until I find a different one to buy.

It is kind of hard to tell the detail from the picture. A magnified look would have helped. It has a shimmery thread added in, so if that's what you want, go for it. Either way, I would have to say that the retailer was extremely helpful in returning the item. Great customer service!

(More customer reviews)The package I received said 1200TC, no idea who makes it or what the actual thread count is, no information about the manufacturer on the packaging or the tag. That being said, the color is pretty and is holding up well so far after a few washes. The stitching is neat and the fabric is smooth, although I doubt it's anywhere near 1200 or 1000TC. Overall, a good purchase, though, no regrets.

Linoto 100% linen duvet cover Review

(More customer reviews)I have been lucky enough (and finicky enough) to insist on sleeping only on fine bedlinens like Porthault and Frette, due to sensitive skin. But recently a close friend told me about this artisanal bedlinen company called Linoto, and I have to say I am hooked forever. The sheets are beautifully designed and presented, due in large part to the fact that the work is all hand-done by a very thoughtful and careful designer with wonderful taste in colours and fabric. The sheets only get softer and better with washings, and they feel like sleeping on cashmere. I love how Linoto's linens stay cool in summer and warm and cosy in winter. Yes, they are expensive (although far cheaper and just as high quality as linens made by the companies I mention above), but if you take care of them, they last much longer than any off-the-shelf bedlinens. And especially since they last so long, I would give these sheets as heirloom or wedding gifts. I also LOVE the towels. Fabulous and stylish hand-crafted quality!

Evedently, Amazon's 300CT is still just plain cotton with an inflated price tag. I will not be getting sheets off Amazon EVER again.
