Pinzon Hotel 300-Thread-Count Percale Duvet Cover Review

(More customer reviews)These sheets have a strange papery quality; they don't feel like heavy, high quality sheets. Though they did not shrink when washed, they came out very wrinkly. I've never seen such wrinkly sheets before; I thought cotton-percale resisted wrinkles. The fitted sheet has elastic all the way around, which is nice, and it didn't crawl up on the mattress. I have a pillow-top and it fit fine.

After I washed the sheets, they immediately felt pilled and rough. I later bought the 500 thread count Wrinkle Free brand sheets and have been very pleased with them.

The company also have a 14 days return policy without any refund for shipping cost (to and from). Basically it cost me almost $ 30.00 to open/check and return the item. Stay away from this!

Pinzon Fleur Jacquard Woven Sham Review

It is kind of hard to tell the detail from the picture. A magnified look would have helped. It has a shimmery thread added in, so if that's what you want, go for it. Either way, I would have to say that the retailer was extremely helpful in returning the item. Great customer service!

(More customer reviews)We just got our duvet and are enjoying the softness of the micro-fiber. We have two young boys and they are putting it through the wringer with alot of jumping, wrestling and snuggling. We all agree that it feels great.
The other day I noticed a small blood stain on my brand new duvet. Probabaly from one of my boys. Anyway, I used a little bath soap and water to dab at it, and to my surprise the stain disappeared immediately. The color remains fine as well. I have not fully laundered the duvet yet, but based on the ease with which I was able to remove the stain, I am very pleased with the fabric. I am reserving a star until I see how it handles a full laundering.
The shams are king sized, which I like as my last duvet came with standard size shams and I have a king size bed, and the cushions are a nice finishing touch.
I am very happy with my purchase.

Though it is expensive, it is very well made, will last a long time if well cared for, and will stay in style forever. When the pillow covers came in, I discovered that the 18 inch were WAY too small and had to go back for the 20, which are of course, much more expensive (unless you get them at Ikea, which I ended up doing). HOWEVER, they are beautiful, and I love them!

Pinzon's Fleur Jacquard accent pillow cover is a silky soft and elegant accessory to the collection. Boasting a sophisticated floral jacquard pattern, the cover is expertly sewn in Portugal from pure, Egyptian cotton in a sateen weave. It has a positive/negative reverse and is finished with solid cream piping all around. The 18-inch square cover accessorizes marvelously with other striped and floral pieces from the Fleur Jacquard collection, or for a layered look, it will also mix beautifully with Pinzon's Diamond Matelasse and Hotel Banded bedding. This was the set, and we are very happy with it. We would have had to have spent a lot more to get anything like this at a bedding store, or even Target. Be aware that this is a duvet cover--you must have your own duvet (down comforter) for this set.

(More customer reviews)I continue to be impressed with the quality of the high end products in the Pinzon line (see my reviews for the bamboo towels, velvet flannel, etc.). I ordered this bedding collection with sheets, duvet, shams, etc. and the fabric is high quality, the craftsmanship is very good, and the extra touch of the reversible shams (which you can't really tell from the pictures) were a very nice surprise. It coordinates very well with chocolate and lighter browns if you've got those colors already in your room. I took it out of the dryer promptly and avoided ironing which is always a plus for me. I have paid a lot more in the past for this type of quality.
