(More customer reviews)Immediately upon receiving this duvet and the two included pillowcases, I washed it and put it on my king down comforter (which I got at Bed Bath and Beyond, the brand is "Royal Velvet" if anyone is curious, I recommend it highly as well). The fabric is moderately thin and I suppose that some people would find 250 TC inadequate, but it is precisely what I wanted in terms of quality and thickness, as the climate where I live is cool enough to require a comforter but never drops below freezing, so I don't want the comforter to get any warmer. The texture is a nicely subtle striped pattern, quite soft, and the cover seems to be sewn well enough, with the comforter fitting perfectly within. The opening has a lot of buttons which are somewhat tedious to undo, but I guess that's a good thing. I'm pleasantly surprised and would recommend this to anyone looking for a duvet under $50.
