Admittedly, I purchased this duvet because the price was right- with a 6 year old who likes to watch TV in our room on the bed and a new baby who should be coming any day now, I really didn't want to break the bank on something that could potentially get ruined. I was pleasantly surprised with this set, though. The color is nice- we bought the gray one- and it is pretty comfortable. It is wrinkled out of the package, so it appears like it will wrinkle pretty easily- so if that is something that bothers you, don't get this. One of the reasons for the 4 stars is that the white pattern doesn't go all of the way around- it is open on the end that has the buttons on it, which I thought was weird, I just expected it to be a full, enclosed rectangle. Also, the sewing of the white band is sloppy. The fabric of the band is white with gray stripes and the stripes aren't straight, but kind of wonky- which again for the price isn't a super big deal. All in all it is a nice cover for the money, and for people on a budget or just looking for a washable solution for an expensive dry cleaning problem- I highly recommend it. Plus, it isn't so thick that it adds a lot of extra bulk, weight, or heat to the blanket. Give it a try...
